Volunteers are increasing the volume, reach and impact of the Legal Aid Society`s work on behalf of New York City clients. Each year, more than 4,000 volunteers receive training, supervision and mentorship that enables them to provide life-changing legal assistance to thousands of clients. The Campaign for Justice strives to provide legal services to all poor people in California. It funds 97 non-profit legal aid organizations serving all 58 counties of the state and increases the subsidies they receive through the state bar to provide free civil services. Lone Star Legal Aid accepts donations from the public for the provision of legal services to eligible clients. We receive financial support from the federally funded Legal Services Corporation. Our funds may not be used in a manner inconsistent with the Law Services Companies Act of section 504 of Public Law 104-134.
